Ministry Description

Es la gracia de Dios que nos fortalece y ayuda para servirle cada día. Cindy es la encargada de toda la parte medica del ministerio, en especial de las brigadas médicas y equipos de médicos que el ministerio recibe y desarrolla en distintas partes del país. Juntos, tenemos la bendición de poder servir a 3 iglesias en Tegucigalpa mediante el ministerio de clubes bíblicos de Palabra de Vida, trabajando con ellas en el discipulado y entrenamiento de lideres, predicación de la Palabra y visitación de sus reuniones los sábados. Felipe sirve como director de los Campamentos de Palabra de Vida Honduras, jefe de mantenimiento de la propiedad y director del Centro de Capacitación de Lideres. También tenemos el privilegio de ser parte y servir en nuestra amada iglesia, Iglesia Bíblica de Comayagua, en la cual servimos en el discipulado, consejería y visitación de nuestros hermanos. Felipe es parte del cuerpo de ancianos-pastores de la iglesia y sirve en la predicación y enseñanza regular de la Palabra.

It is God's grace that strengthens us and helps us to serve Him every day. Cindy is in charge of the entire medical part of the ministry, especially the medical brigades and teams of doctors that the ministry receives and develops in different parts of the country. Together, we are blessed to be able to serve 3 churches in Tegucigalpa through the ministry of Word of Life Bible clubs, working with them in discipleship and leadership training, preaching the Word, and visiting their Saturday meetings. Felipe serves as director of the Word of Life Honduras Camps, head of property maintenance, and director of the Leadership Training Center. We also have the privilege of being part of and serving in our beloved church, Iglesia Bíblica de Comayagua, in which we serve in the discipleship, counseling and visitation of our brothers. Felipe is part of the body of elders-pastors of the church and serves in the regular preaching and teaching of the Word.

About Luis

Mi nombre es Luis Felipe Sabillón, pecador, pero salvo por gracia. Crecí en una familia disfuncional en el área espiritual, mi madre era creyente pero mi padre no, así que pude experimentar en mi hogar que es vivir en Cristo y que es vivir sin Cristo. Recuerdo haber escuchado, por primera vez, el evangelio a las 11 años pero fue a mis 16 años, en un campamento de Palabra de Vida, que de verdad comprendí y creí que existe un Dios todopoderoso, santo, justo y misericordioso y que yo estaba totalmente alejado del Él y muerto espiritualmente a causa de mi pecado, pero que El en su amor se hizo hombre, vivió una vida perfecta, murió en mi lugar y por mis pecados, resucitó al tercer día con poder y gloria para darme vida, hoy está a la diestra del Padre como Rey y Sacerdote y un día regresara por mí. Esta verdad cambio de tal forma mi vida que decidí dar el paso de obediencia al bautizarme, comencé un discipulado, me congregué fielmente en una iglesia y comencé a servir a aquel que me salvo. En el año 2006 el Espíritu Santo puso la convicción en mí de servir a mi Salvador el resto de mi vida, pero no sólo los fines de semana, si no cada día de la semana y en el año 2015 Dios me dio la oportunidad de comenzar a servir en su obra a tiempo completo en el ministerio de Palabra de Vida Honduras.

My name is Luis Felipe Sabillón, sinner, but saved by grace. I grew up in a dysfunctional family in the spiritual area, my mother was a believer but my father was not, so I was able to experience at home what it is to live in Christ and what it is to live without Christ. I remember hearing, for the first time, the gospel at age 11 but it was at age 16, at a Word of Life camp, that I truly understood and believed that there is an all powerful, holy, just and merciful God and that I was totally alienated from Him and spiritually dead because of my sin, but that He in His love became man, lived a perfect life, died in my place and for my sins, rose again on the third day with power and glory to give me life, today He is at the right hand of the Father as King and Priest and one day He will return for me. This truth changed my life in such a way that I decided to take the step of obedience by being baptized, I began a discipleship, I congregated faithfully in a church and I began to serve the one who saved me. In 2006 the Holy Spirit put the conviction in me to serve my Savior the rest of my life, but not only on weekends, but every day of the week and in 2015 God gave me the opportunity to begin serving in His work full time in the ministry of Word of Life Honduras.

About Cindy

Mi nombre es Cindy Nolasco Flores, recibí a Cristo como mi salvador personal a los 7 años de edad y a pesar de ser salva no vivía una vida entregada a Dios. Tenía una doble vida y a la edad de 17 años tuve la oportunidad de asistir a un campamento de Palabra de Vida y allí tomé la decisión de consagrar mi vida a Él y de prepararme mediante el estudio de su palabra para poder servir en la obra misionera, días después estaba viajando a La Habana, Cuba para estudiar medicina, y 7 años después me gradué de médico general. Dios confirmo ese llamado a servirle en la temporada de campamento de Palabra de Vida en 2011, en el cual estuve sirviendo a Dios con mi profesión. Y esta es una de las cosas que me apasiona el poder dedicar mi vida y mi servicio a Dios no solo como misionera sino también como médico, el poder llegar a aquellas personas que necesitan de Dios y llevar salud espiritual y física. Fue por eso que tome la decisión de viajar a Argentina y prepararme para servir en la obra, por la misericordia de Dios ahora estoy como misionera a tiempo completo en el ministerio Palabra de Vida Honduras.

En el 2016 me case con el amor de mi vida, Luis Felipe, y Dios nos ha regalado 2 hermosas hijas, Andrea Isabel y Paula Abigail.

My name is Cindy Nolasco Flores, I received Christ as my personal savior when I was 7 years old and in spite of being saved I did not live a life dedicated to God. I had a double life and at the age of 17 I had the opportunity to attend a Word of Life camp and there I made the decision to consecrate my life to Him and to prepare myself through the study of His word to be able to serve in the missionary work, days later I was traveling to Havana, Cuba to study medicine, and 7 years later I graduated as a general practitioner. God confirmed that call to serve Him in the Word of Life camp season in 2011, in which I was serving God with my profession. And this is one of the things that I am passionate about being able to dedicate my life and my service to God not only as a missionary but also as a doctor, to be able to reach those people who need God and bring spiritual and physical health. That is why I made the decision to travel to Argentina and prepare myself to serve in the work, by the mercy of God I am now a full time missionary in the ministry Word of Life Honduras.

In 2016 I married the love of my life, Luis Felipe, and God has given us 2 beautiful daughters, Andrea Isabel and Paula Abigail.
