Jorge and Laura Radziwiluk started Word of Life in the Ukraine 1992. In 1993, the ministry started growing through Bible Clubs and the camping program. Today, there is a staff of more than 30 nationals that are reaching thousands of young people every year. The burden of the missionary team has been to reach out to neighboring countries. An old communist training camp near Kiev was purchased in 1999 and has been renovated to now host camps through out the year and a Bible Institute. Graduates from the Bible Institute now serve in over 10 neighboring countries of Ukraine. Over 1,400 young people attend camp each year. The ministry in Ukraine includes extensive Open Air Gospel outreaches through the year, Local Church Ministries, Conferences and Gospel Advancing seminars. Another great outreach is the musical drama, "Born Again to a Living Hope". Thousands have accepted Jesus Christ as personal Savior through this ministry. After 20 years of service Jorge and Laura Radziwiluk passed on a well developed ministry in 2013 to a young and vibrant staff. The leadership team heading up this entire ministry is Matias Radziwiluk as director and associate director Serhii Korobkin. Winter 2018: God provided us with the opportunity to build a brand new meeting room / conference center. We want to have an opening ceremony on December 15th and there is much inside finishing work to be done. Work includes Painting, flooring, drop ceilings, acoustic paneling, electric work. Spring: much work is done around the grounds of the property. We have started a new decking project in the pond that's in the middle of the property. Also there is constant work done with walkways, gardening and landscaping of the property. There are several projects for wooden gazebos and swing galas around the property. 2 summer cabins have to be renewed and expanded.
Our new auditorium will allow us to have ministry year round. It's our first winterized meeting room. Improving our property is key to face the demands of todays youth. Our camp is located ina strategic place near the capital, and we host groups constantly. It is key to continue to upgrade it. It also boosts our capacity to 500 people in our conferences and camping events.

Travel
The airport is Kiyv Boryspil Airport (KBP). Our property is located only a 15-20 minute drive from the airport. WOL Ukraine takes care of all transportation to and from the airport. All flights to Ukraine from the US come through a connection in Europe. Outbound flights are all early morning flights.
Visa
No visas are required for US citizens.
Food
Ukrainian food is rich in vegetables, crops and soups. Meals will be provided in our dinning room (breakfast, lunch and dinner). All meals are normally accompanied with hot tea and bread is a must in every meal. Apart from that, our hospitable missionary staff always welcomes guests for meals in their homes for great fellowship.
Housing
The Word of Life property has several guest rooms and apartments, as well as rooms in the dorms. All have bathrooms and showers. High Speed Wifi is available almost everywhere in the property.
Transportation
WOL Ukraine provides transportation for any travel needed within the country.
What To Bring
A list of items will be sent to you. This could be hand tools, project supplies, staff needs, etc.
What To Wear
There are no exceptional rules for clothing while on campus. We ask for modesty and good taste. No short, exposing or transparent clothing. If attending a church, a more official attire is welcome. However for men no ties or jackets are needed. For ladies, most churches don't welcome pants, so a skirt or dress would be necessary.
