Evangelistic Ministry: • The Gospel will be shared with every person we treat. • The goal is to treat and share the Good News with 400-500 people on the trip. • Word of Life Liberia is passionate to train up youth to reach their generation with the Good News of the Gospel!
Details
Travel
• Flying into Monrovia, Liberia (MLW). [tickets about $1,500 – round trip] • Arrival flights: Leave USA on October 21st night, arrive in Liberia on 23rd early morning. • Healthcare clinics: October 24th-29th • Return flights: Leave Liberia on October 30th early morning, arrive in USA in late afternoon.
Visa
• Visa required for entry to Liberia (not included in trip cost)
Food
• The team will enjoy wonderful, tasty food prepared by our missionaries, as well as a few times of eating out to enjoy the local food. • We will be able to provide alternate meal options for those with allergies.
Housing
• Team will be staying at missionary guest house of David & Lucy Kiamu, about 20 minutes from the international airport.
Transportation
• Word of Life's missionaries will take care of all the transportation in-country.
What To Bring
• Bring non-meltable snacks if needed to supplement between meals.
What To Wear
• Scrubs with close-toed shoes for work. • Modest casual clothing for free time and day off. • Bathing suits: "1-piece" with shorts for women (please no midriff), hand-length shorts for men • Remember that modesty is important to Christians in Liberia, and that we are protecting the reputations of the missionaries Word of Life has in Liberia. Please prefer our missionaries for the duration of the missions trip + travel to and from the field:)

Location: • Liberia, West Africa • Africa’s oldest independent nation • Established by freed slaves from United States in 1847 • 75% of population under 25 years of age. • Required immunizations, vaccinations & medications: Yellow Fever Vaccination, Malaria Medication, & Typhoid Vaccination (not included in trip cost)
