Healthcare Ministry: • Our intent is to provide the finest healthcare possible to the poorest and neediest people in the world. • Team of volunteer healthcare professionals using their abilities to help the helpless.
Evangelistic Ministry: • The Gospel will be shared with every person we treat. • The goal is to treat and share the Good News with over 1,000 people on the trip. • Word of Life Honduras is passionate to train up youth to reach their generation with the Good News of the Gospel!
Details
Travel
• Team will fly in/out of Comayagua (XPL). • Please coordinate your arrival and departure to be within a few hours of the group. (Arrival and departure times will be communicated upon acceptance to trip.)
Visa
• US citizens will receive a visa upon entry to Honduras.
Food
• The team will enjoy wonderful, tasty food prepared by our missionaries. • We will be able to provide alternate meal options for those with allergies.
Housing
• Team will be staying at Word of Life Honduras' beautiful camp property in the mountains of Honduras.
Transportation
• Word of Life's missionaries will handle all the transportation in-country.
What To Bring
• Please bring a good size reusable water bottle or shaker bottle to stay hydrated. • Please bring energy drink powder to keep electrolytes up. • If accustomed to snacking between meals, please bring non-meltable foods to supplement between meals.
What To Wear
• Scrubs with close-toed shoes for work. • Modest casual clothing for free time and day off. • Bathing suits: "1-piece" with shorts for women (please nothing midriff revealing), hand-length shorts for men. • Remember that we are protecting the reputations of the Word of Life's missionaries. Please prefer our missionaries for the duration of the missions trip, as well as travel to and from the field:)
