Come join a team today and experience the incredible view of the Romanian Word of Life Camp from the hillside overlooking the local towns in the valley below of Micesti/ Pitesti in the Arges region of Romania. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the Staff couples who live on the 60+ acre camp property. You will be able to experience the culture first hand, observing the modern day life style to the remnants of the communist era buildings that are present in the cities. You will also experience the rural life style enjoyed by the farmers as they gather their crops in their homemade horse drawn wagons. You will be able to see local herdsmen grazing their herds of sheep, goats and cattle across the camp property onto the open prairies surrounding the camp. The Gypsy communities are common place thru out the country and is one of the people groups that the ministry is focusing on sharing the Gospel message
The passage from Matt.9:53-38 is truly understood [The fields are white unto harvest… but the workers are few…] Will you come and be a worker and see firsthand the impact these missionary’s are have in reaching the people of Romania with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Landscaping & excavation related to flood plain on property, build sidewalks, finish dorm wood floors, painting and wood work, ceiling insulation and AC repairs in meeting hall.

Travel
The Airport of choice is Bucharest Romania [OTP] and is 7 hours ahead of EST time. Most flights that originating from the states fly over night and arrive mid morning next day. Try to get some shut eye on the night flight.

No Visa is required to enter the Country
Food
The food has an Eastern European flavor of local cheeses and sausage meats you have got to try. The fresh water melons are amazing to try when in season along with the homemade eggplant paste spreads that are very tasty. The staff enjoys serving 3 meals a day and you will always have great fellowship around the table.
Housing
You will be staying in the camper dormitories with Bunk Bed facilities and shower blocks for ladies and guys. There are some rooms available for couples as well with normal beds.
Transportation
The drive to the camp is roughly a 2 hour van ride along beautiful farmlands and rolling hills to the 2 mile journey up the bumpy gravel road to the camp.
What To Bring
Expect the weather to be a typical warm fall day where the days can become warm and comfortable and the evenings offer perfect sleeping weather for the Sept time frame. The conditions for work should have folks prepared to work in jeans and comfortable shoes as the camp has a setting like the pictures from Little House on the Prairie.
What To Wear
Work in jeans, T-shirts, shorts or what ever you are comfortable in. Church dress business casual.
Other
The electricity is 240 volts. The weather usually is warm and mild in September and a small chance of rainy weather. We suggest comfortable clothes dressing in layers so that you can adjust your garb based upon the weather conditions. Most of our work will be both inside and outside. Church dress for the guys is dress slacks and casual collared shirts. For the gals a light dress or dress slacks. We intend to take you sightseeing and evangelizing along the way for a day and potentially stop by Dracula’s Castle among many other incredible views of the Carpathian Mts.
