About Angie

Ministry to youth began early in my life. As a teen I was involved in Word of Life club at our church! Participating in and inviting friends to events that were held, such as Superbowls, Softball Marathons and Teens Involved was my mission field. Those who have been with WOL for a while will know the names of these events dates me! Later Mike, my husband, and I became Word of Life leaders and worked with an awesome team for about twenty-five years. During this time we brought groups to WOL New York for teens involved and benefited from the conferences in between supporting our teens in their events. It was during a visit to the Pines that the Holy Spirit spoke to us about helping David and Lucy Kiamu, WOL missionaries in Liberia. David and Lucy, who are Liberian, spent the summer at the pines making their needs know! Through this divine meeting and listening to the prompting of the Holy Spirit we became advocates for the work in Liberia and now all for Africa! The how of this is constantly changing as needs arise, but mainly consists of letting others know how they can assist in making the name of Jesus known in Africa. I am thankful to the Lord for making himself known to me at the age of nine and am humbled daily that he allows me to be a part of letting others know about his saving grace.
