Ukraine Emergency Fund

Dear friend,

We are reaching out with an urgent need.

 Due to ongoing russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, our region near Kyiv is experiencing daily power outages lasting 20+ hours. This winter has been extremely cold, and electricity is available only 2-4 hours a day. A national state of emergency has been declared in the energy sector.

 Our Word of Life Ukraine campus is home to Bible school students and missionaries who live and study here year-round. Heat, water, internet, and hot meals all depend on electricity. Right now, we have no choice but to rely on our generator for about 80% of our power.

 We still have around 130 days left in the academic year, and the situation is not expected to improve until summer. To keep the campus running, we urgently need to secure diesel fuel reserves for our generator.

 Our total need is $10,000 to cover electricity through the end of the school year.

A gift of $80  = one day of electricity. Electricity is what allows us to heat buildings, prepare hot meals, provide water and, keep a safe place to live and study.
