About Dina

I was born in a Catolico home in the country of Bolivia. At the age of 12 I had to leave my home to be able to work and help my family financially. At 22 years old, I decided to go to Argentina with the desire to excel and reach my personal and career goals. I was far from my home, and I thought that I was a mature girl and that everything was OK as long as I was religious. But I got involved with people that were negative influences on me, and I realized the emptiness that existed in my life.
I looked for God through a church, and I realized that my sin separated me from God and that religion is not what gives me a relationship with Him. In the year 2000 I received Christ in my heart as my personal Savior. Some one in my church started to disciple me, which really helped me grow. I also became involved in my church serving in different ministries.
At a campfire service I made a decision to go to the Word of Life Bible Institute to prepare myself to serve in the work of God. In the year 2005 God gave me that opportunity, and I was there for 3 beautiful years.
In that place God challenged me to serve Him full time in missionary work and placed in my heart the call to come to this beautiful country. By His grace and mercy I am here with the desire to reach people with the gospel of Christ. Ephesians 3:20

Yo nací en un hogar católico en Bolivia. A los 12 años, deje mi hogar, para ayudar a mi familia económicamente por medio del trabajo. A los 22 años, decidí ir a Argentina buenos Aires, con el deseo de avanzar en mis metas personales, especialmente en mi carrera y trabajo . Estuve lejos de casa, y pensaba que era una chica madura y que todo estaba bien , me consideraba religiosa y buena . Pero un día me involucré con personas que me influyeron negativamente, hasta que un día me di cuenta que mi corazón estaba vacía sin propósito y sin esperanza.
Empecé a buscar al Señor a través de una iglesia local; la primera semana me hablaron sobre la salvación y me confrontaron con mi pecado, yo entendí que mi pecado me separaba de Dios y que la religión no me puede salvar. En el año 2000 recibí a Cristo en mi corazón como mi Salvador personal. Alguien en mi iglesia me discípulo, lo cual me ayudó mucho a crecer. También me involucré en mi iglesia, sirviendo en diferentes ministerios.
En una fogata tomé la decisión de ir al Instituto Bíblico de Palabra de Vida para prepararme a servir en la obra del Señor. En el año 2005 Dios me dio esa oportunidad y estuve allí en el Instituto 3 hermosos años.
En ese lugar Dios me desafió a servirle a tiempo completo en la obra misionera y puso en mi corazón el llamado de venir a este hermoso país, Honduras. Por Su gracia y misericordia, estoy acá con el deseo de alcanzar a otros con el evangelio de Cristo. Efesios 3:20
