Ministry Description

Laci serves as Director of the Word of Life Hungary Ministry.
His vision is that at Word of Life Hungary kids, teens and young people would learn how to know follow and proclaim Christ to their friends.
Laci is teaching some courses in the WOL Hungary Bible School and he is often invited to speak at various churches, conferences, retreats and evangelistic events.
Laci wants to build, lead and serve a strong and committed team, passionate for the evangelization and discipleship of Hungary and Central Europe.
Szandra is involved in various translation projects for Word of Life Hungary. She often counsels and encourages staff and student ladies at Word of Life. She helps with Summer Camps as one of the Volunteer coordinators and she is the Director of Children's Ministries in our church.

About Laci

Laci was not raised in a religious home, but through many experiences God had kept calling him since he was a young boy. He became a Christian in 1988. A young volunteer of Campus Crusade for Christ encouraged him in that decision. After graduating a Teachers College in Budapest he joined the staff of WOL Hungary in 1995. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2007 with a Master of Theology degree with honors. God called him to be a missionary through the words of Isaiah, in chapter 1 verse 8: "Here I am, send me."

About Szandra

Szandra was not raised up in a Christian home either. While growing up in the former Yugoslavia studying and playing Basketball filled his days. Because of the Balkan war she and her mother had to flee their homeland to Hungary, and in 1993, she became a Christian in a Basketball camp. She has a Masters degree in Croatian language and linguistics, and she has been on staff since 1997.
Laci and Szandra got married in 1997. After that we prayed along with many friends for children. Finally God gave us the perfect Christmas gift - Fanni was born on Christmas Day, 2004. Then, in November 2006 our second daughter Luca followed, and in June 2008 Laci junior arrived.
