Ministry Description

We are a family that has been part of the Word of Life team in Ukraine for over 20 years. These have been
years of joy, challenges, and many stories as we have seen God change people's hearts.

Today the Lord has led us further. He has opened up a new country where we can serve even more fully, in the direction He has called us to from the beginning. This is Bulgaria. Here, as a result of the war, many Ukrainians now live, and we see a huge field for ministry.

Our goal has not changed: to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ and to put our hearts into the lives of the younger generation. We do this through summer and winter camps, evangelistic projects, regular meetings with young people, and active participation in the life of the local church.

We strive to grow in our knowledge of the Lord and learn how to share His Word in a way that touches hearts. This is not just a job - it is our life. We want to serve as a family, introducing people to Jesus in our daily interactions and showing Him through our relationships, love and care for each other.

About Pavel

I was 16 when I first heard the Gospel at a Word of Life Bible club. That night I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. The example of the missionaries, their sincerity and dedication made a deep impression on me. It was then that a dream was born in my heart to become part of God's mission.

The Lord opened the door to the Bible Institute for me, and in 2004 he gave me the opportunity to join the Word of Life team as a missionary. For me, this is not just a dream come true - it is a vocation to which I want to be faithful for the rest of my life.

About Svetlana

When I was 12, our family spent the entire summer helping out at a Word of Life camp. It was there that I first truly met Jesus Christ and committed my life to Him. The example of my parents, who served full-time, became my guide and inspiration.

After school, I entered the Bible Institute, where the Lord confirmed my vocation. There I met a young missionary who later became my husband. Today we serve the Lord together, as a family, and this is our greatest blessing and joy.

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not. 2 Corinthians 4:1
