Ministry Description

We serve as a family on the Word of Life team in Ukraine. Word of Life seeks to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and invest in the lives of young people in Ukraine. We do this through summer and winter camps, youth and missionary conferences, and the Bible Institute. High school graduates & young adults who desire to study the Word attend our resident Bible Institute, where students live as a community while studying and serving in local church ministries. Our daily role involves evangelism, teaching, personal discipleship of the B.I. students, and maintenance of the campus and premises.

I first heard the Gospel when I was 16 years old, at a WOL Bible Club. That very same night I accepted Christ as my personal Savior. Seeing the lives of WOL missionaries really impacted me. It led to a deep desire in me to become a part of the mission. God made this dream come true in my life! He gave me the opportunity to study at the Bible Institute, and then in 2004 to join the team as a WOL missionary.

Svetlana

When I was 12 years old, my whole family spent all of the summer helping out at a WOL camp. There I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and dedicated my whole life to Him. My parents were a great example to me in their desire to serve full-time with WOL, so I also dreamed of becoming a missionary. After graduating from high school, I applied to the WOLBI where God strengthened my commitment to serve Him. During the B.I., I met a young missionary who would eventually become my husband. My dream and calling became a reality. We serve the Lord with our whole family!

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not. 2 Corinthians 4:1
