Ministry Description
The Word of Life ministry in Uruguay began in 1978. Over the years, the ministry has experienced different seasons of leadership, while steadily growing through partnerships with local churches and developing a strong focus on evangelism. Today, Word of Life Uruguay is led by Ignacio (Nacho) and Monica Flandez. The team includes another missionary family, as well as several ministry partners from local churches. Throughout the year, we carry out a variety of ministries, including youth camps, Bible Clubs, sports tournaments, and Supermatch, organized game competitions for children and teenagers. The Lord has also opened doors for us to teach and share His Word through conferences, leadership training, evangelism and discipleship programs, and marriage retreats.
