About Gaby

I grew up in a christian home in a family of 5, with parents Highly involved in Church and Youth ministries. There would be literally just one day during the week that we wouldn’t be at church and throughout the year we would participate of different camps and activities from Word of Life and our Local Church.
I was the type of kid who would almost always raise their hand when someone would share the Gospel, but when I was around 6-7 year old that, at our Church’s Kids Concert, I finally understood the gospel message. Latter when I was 11 my mom talked me through it again and I was assured of my salvation. Since then my desire to know more about God grew even more and after a preach at my church I highlighted the whole section in Matthew 14:22-33 and told my mom that would be the first thing I would teach and that I wanted to be a preacher! She just kindly smiled at me and say that that could not be, but that I should consider being a teacher or a missionary. In 2007 my parents took that challenge for themselves and moved the whole family to Argentina where they studied to become missionaries at the Word of life Bible Institute.
During those two years,not only I saw my parents faith grow but also mine and my siblings and God worked in amazing ways during our time there. I was able to deepen in my faith and make my parents faith my own, and saw God in a way I have never knew Him before! During one of their Missions Conference, it was so clear to me that that was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and what God was calling me to do. We went back to Guatemala at the end of 2008 and my parents became full time missionaries with Word of life. It wasn't always easy, I struggled along the way and with my faith till the pint of almost stop pursuing being a missionary, but God just pursued me and bought me back to His truth. I started helping out at Word of life Guatemala with their camps and Multimedia and realized my passion for discipling young girls.

Since then God has been working in my life in ways I could have never imagine, and brought me back to the His will and call for me.
I graduated from my second year at Word of Life NY and now I'm walking in faith to what God has called me to.

Acts 20:24 "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace."
