Ministry Description

I will be serving in their Student Life Department! I get to live life alongside students, help them understand the classes they will be taking about the Bible, and help them develop habits such as a healthy prayer life and time in the Word of God. Along with this specific ministry, I will have the chance to fill in any general needs that might arise around campus and serve anywhere I am needed.

About Drew

I was raised in a Christian home to know God, but only acknowledged Christ as my savior from Hell, not as my redeemer and Great Counselor. I attended the Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida for a year. There, I made friends that really helped me with the process of casting my burdens onto the Lord and opening my heart to begin a relationship with God.
Through that relationship with God and growing closer to Him, it seamed very natural for me to pursue full-time missions. I felt called to full-time missions when I was a Summer Counselor at the Coast. That really set my heart for helping people take their next step with Jesus.

Over the past four years of attending the Word of Life Bible institute, I have been privileged to disciple many classmates. I did so from official means like being a Resident Assistant during the school year and a Unit Leader in the summer, to unofficial means by simply befriending people and seeking out my classmates! I am excited to continue this trend of discipleship as I am being called to Hungary! Their ministry lines up perfectly with my passions - not only for reaching Hungarians, but also all of Europe - and even includes my desire to help young people take their next step with Jesus!
