Ministry Description

I will have the honor of being the executive chef of the Bible Institute in Word of Life Québec, and to glorify God through making good meals for the students and staff. God taught me that it is not only by preaching or doing street evangelism that someone can be a missionary, but that anything can be used for his glory. I also have a heart for evangelism through relationships, since I have seen how more effective it is with Québécois, and I am planning to develop this ministry on the side. My main goal is to transform the kitchen into a ministry where the students can have a safe place to share and where the kitchen team can become prayer warriors. I will also have the opportunity sometime to go on a mission trip with the students!

About Angie

I am from Québec, Canada, and I grew up in a Christian family and accepted Christ as my Savior when I was young, without really knowing what having a relationship with the Lord was. I always searched for love in friends without getting that hole in my heart filled up. When my parents became missionaries at Word of Life Québec, we had to move to another town, and I lost everything important to me. I became really angry at God and did what was right in my eyes. One day, after my mom talked to me, I realized how life was not worth living if it was not for the Lord, and from that moment, I decided to dedicate my life to him. Then, I went to Word of Life Bible Institute in New York for two years, and that's where God grew a burden on my heart to become a missionary in my Province. I knew that Québécois needed to hear about God as I did. I discovered a passion for cooking/baking and decided to go to culinary school and baking school to become a chef missionary.
