Ministry Description

In January of 2024 I will be joining the missionaries in Word of Life Portugal as a cross cultural intern. As an intern I will be learning and serving in many different areas as needed. During this time I wish to grow in my willingness to serve in any area as well as learn more about my own spiritual gifts and where I can serve the body of Christ best. Some of the ministries I get the opportunity to serve in are bible clubs, local church ministry, street evangelism and summer and winter camps.

About Brooklynn

I grew up in the church and I put my faith in Christ at a very young age. However, I did not live like a follower of Christ. I didn't understand the concept of grace, but rather saw the Christian life as an exhausting cycle of repentance and appeasing God. But throughout my time at the Word of Life Bible Institute I came to learn what it meant that I was saved by grace. This understanding has led to so much freedom and joy in my life and my desire is to share that freedom with as many lost people as I can.

During my time at Word of Life the Lord softened my heart towards missions. I used to think that being a missionary was only for those who are ultra-spiritual and practically perfect. But God taught me that He wants to use me, I simply must be obedient and follow Him to wherever He will lead. I know He will continue to grow me and lead me through this time, and I cannot wait to encounter all He has in store.
