Ministry Description

This spring, I have the privilege of going on a short-term missions trip within the USA to shadow some of Word of Life's Youth Ministry Coaches. This trip is part of a Spring Semester course every sophomore student takes at Word of Life Bible Institute. Instead of only learning about missions in the classroom, students get to raise support and participate in missions around the world alongside Word of Life missionaries. Word of Life Youth Ministries exists to help young people grow in their faith. The aim is to come alongside local churches to help them evangelize and disciple students so that churches throughout the country can have dynamic ministries for students. They provide Bible-based curriculum for all ages, evangelistic events, leadership training, and one-on-one coaching. This trip will include learning hands-on philosophy and methodology of youth ministry, a chance to preach to kids and teenagers, evangelistic events for children and teenagers, and ministering to pastors and youth pastors in their homes and churches.
