About Daniel

I grew up in a Christian home and was saved at the age of nine. However, for many years, I didn't fully commit my life to pursuing God, until I found myself alone in a rented room in Alaska after a long day of pouring concrete. In that quiet room, I knew God had prepared me for more than the life I was living.
That realization led me to two years of study at the Word of Life Bible Institute, followed by ministry roles in Florida and eventually moving to New Zealand in 2018. What started as a cross-cultural internship has grown into many years of full-time missionary service. Today, I serve as the Operations and Special Projects Manager for Word of Life New Zealand. Looking back, I can see how every step of that journey, from Alaska to the youth camps and local churches we serve today, was part of God's perfect plan. My family and I are deeply grateful to continue following Him in this incredible mission field.

About Carol

God has given me the blessing of growing up in a Christian home, and although being a pastor's kid and a missionary kid has its challenges, I also realize what an unbelievable privilege it is. At the age of six, I trusted Jesus Christ as my Saviour. Since that day, the Lord has been working in my life, transforming me to be more like Christ. I have realized that my walk with the Lord is not about perfection, but about progression. He has changed my anger to peace and love; my despair to delight; my selfishness to service; and He has promised to keep working on me!

The path God has lead me on so far has included many different ministry opportunities; being involved in church, various leadership roles, attending Word of Life Bible Institute and going on short term mission trips. Looking back I can see how each opportunity was preparing me for a life of full-time mission. I am burdened for young people to realize the importance and necessity of being in the Word of God, to be involved in their local church and to understand their relationship with their Saviour.

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
