Ministry Description

For the past 10 years, I have served as a full-time missionary with Word of Life in South Africa, short- term missions in Zimbabwe, Kenya and Uganda. Each place has helped equip me for the place He has us now. As we have just moved to Zimbabwe, February 2025, my responsibility is to help my husband as he seeks to establish the ministry of Word of Life through training youth workers in the local churches, mobilize youth through evangelistic events and facilitate youth camps in Harare and short missions trip all across the country.

MY LIFE BEFORE TRUSTING CHRIST…
I grew up in a Christian home in Zimbabwe, for so many years I tried to earn salvation by my own works (praying, fasting and by being a good person) but all to no avail. All this satisfied for a while but couldn’t stand the test of time. I was saved at the age of about 10 when I realized I could not be good enough or do enough good deeds. Still, I continued practicing these religious activities I still knew that something was missing. I thought of how much I was lost in religion, having a form of godliness but without a real relationship with the Lord. In 2009 I rededicated my life to the Lord and in 2013 I was privileged to attend a one year Bible College with Berean Bible Institute in South Africa (BBISA) in association with the Word of Life Discipleship Training Center (DTC) in South Africa.
HOW MY LIFE HAS CHANGED.
That year the Lord graciously changed my worldview as I learned about God’s character and my relationship with Him grew. By God’s grace after a year of intense Bible study, I accepted the offer to intern with WOLSA for the next year. During my internship, the Lord grew my heart for the ministry. I came to agree with Paul in his letter to the Romans when he said, “How, then can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” (10:14).This verse has been my conviction and now I desire to impact the children, teens, young girls and ladies with the gospel of Christ. I came back in 2015 to become a Word Of Life South Africa staff missionary. In 2016-17, I was able to further my studies at Word Of Life Africa Bible Institute (WOLABI), where I met my husband and I am thankful for His continued guidance. My goal is to help people move from religion into a deeper meaningful relationship with our Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Knowing that there are so many facets of life, we teach how to live biblical principles from work ethics, stewardship, to open communication among people and practice it in our daily activities. We assign students to different weekly ministries in different communities where they are able to teach the Word. Our daily work is to ensure the running of these activities and encourage each other to glorify God in whatever that we do.
