Ministry Description

I am serving with the area of Multimedia, creating post, designing and editing videos for our different activities during the year. One thing I love to do is discipleship, currently I have discipleship with 4 girls, we have meetings every week and I just love to see how each one of them are growing in their Faith and reaching other girls through discipleship also; I have assigned to visit two churches, one in Guatemala City and the other church I visit one time at month in Joyabaj, Quiché, it is located in the West part of Guatemala.

About Gabriela

I accepted Christ as my personal Savior in 2002 when I was 11 years old in a Vacation Bible School at my church. In 2006, Word of Life came to my church with the Bible Clubs program, I started to have a personal devotional with God, and I was discipled by one of the leaders, that year, I went to my first camp where God started to talk to my heart about preparing myself and serving in my church, I start to serve in camp season every year until 2010 when God gave me the opportunity to study Bible in the Discipleship Training Center of Word of Life Guatemala, during this time I could hear God´s call and confirmation to serve full time in the ministry with Word of Life, but I was afraid to accept Gods call, in the camp season 2013 I could see how the Lord don´t stop with me, and He talk to my heart in very cleary way, Oscar Fuentes (the current Director) invite me to be part of the missionary staff and I undertood that the Lord was really calling me, so with many fears I accept God´s call and in 2014 I start in this beautiful adventure to serve as a missionary full time in Word of Life.

I am so grateful what the Lord start in my life and is a huge blessing been part of this ministry because I learn many things, not just for ministry but specially for my personal life.

For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” Acts 13:47
