This year God is giving us the privilege of being incharge of the Word of Life Belize property. This includes overseeing the logistics. construction and development of it. It is a great task and encouragement.

About Gerson

My parents instructed me in the paths of the Lord from a very young age and I accepted Christ as my personal Saviour at the age of 8 years. Yet as I went through High School, I started neglecting my walk with Christ. This continued into my years at College until January 2011 when I was invited for the opening of the “Christ our Refuge” Bible Club at our church. I knew it was God’s way of calling me. Although it was not easy for me to attend, that night I recognized that I was not living the way God wanted me to, and I knelt to pray for the first time in a long time! I started to grow in my spiritual walk through discipleship. In June of 2011, as I was finishing Junior College I trusted God, and He guided to continue my studies but this time in a Bibe Institute. .
There, a class named “Life of Christ” started to changed in my heart because as I started to gain family and friends in Christ, I started pray forthose friends and family I had not shared the Gospel to. It was then that God made it clear He was calling me to serve Him, to spend my life for Him and others. During my last year God called me to be a part of Word of Life Belize, as a full time missionary and I have been since 2014. It is by God’s grace and mercy that I serve Him today and I can look back on my life and see how He placed every detail to lead me to where He wants me to be.

About Blanca

I was blessed to be born in a Christian family. At the age of five, my mother shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ to me and I asked Him to be my personal Savior. Both my parents taught how to serve in our and other churches even my community yet, God was not the centre of my life for most of my teenage years.
When I was sixteen years a close family member my same age, suddenly passed away due to a brain haemorrhage. It was then when I started to notice God's calling in my life. Through this very painful and difficult moment I understood my life only belong to God and could claim it and at that moment I had nothing to offer Him. Through His conforting Word He also made it clear that He loved me so dearly that wanted to have a very close relationship with me.
So, at that age of sixteen I actually COMMITTED my life to God. This was during the bonfire of the first Word of Life Camp held in my country, Belize.

At the age of seventeen, God led me to start my Bible Studies in a Word of Life Bible Institute. God worked in wonderful ways in my life and called me to serve Him as a full-time missionary. As I seeked and was given opportunities to serve, God lead me to love and serve my "Jerusalem", my home country, Belize. So as I concluded my studies at twenty-one years, I became a Missionary in Word of Life Belize and I am so very grateful for the privilege I am given. I pray God may use me and my family as is His will until the day of Jesus Christ.

Psalms 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
