Ministry Description

Right now we serve in 4 Bible Clubs in the south part of the country, outside of Guatemala city. Also Hector helps with some administrative matters, Rosmery helps with scenography and the ladies meetings. We are part of camp season, medical trips, soccer marathons, teens involved contest and other events. In our local church we serve in the worship ministry and Sunday school.

About Hector

By God's grace, I was born in a Christian home. In 1998 I was introduced to the Word of Life ministry because my church started the third bible club in the whole country of Guatemala. This ministry impacted my life. Then in 2007, feeling empty inside of what I was doing, I prayed to God wondering if He could use my life for something. God answered and I decided to quit my job and go to the Bible Institute in Argentina where I studied for 3 years (2 years single and 1 year married).
I came back in 2011 to Guatemala absolutely sure that I wanted to serve my Lord full time for the rest of my Life.

About Rosmery

I was born in a Christian family. I accepted Jesus as my savior at age 13. At age 15 I started making bad decisions and I walked away from God. People invited me to church, but one time I was invited to a camp and at that camp I made the decision to return to God. Since 2001 I became involved in the Word of Life ministry. At the camp in 2005 I made the decision to study the word of God to serve Him full time. I studied for 4 years and returned in 2011 with my husband. The verses that support my life are Romans 11:36, 13:12 and 2 Corinthians 5:15.
