We are directly involved with Camps, from leading our camp staff during the year to preparing our team of volunteers that will be with us during camp season; but also helping in the management and administration of the organization since both of us have Business Degrees.

About Ivan Daniel

I grew up as a Missionary Kid as my parents were missionaries with Word of Life. Since I was a little kid, my parents always told me about Jesus and the different stories and miracles from the Bible. Growing up, since I played soccer and started to have a salary from a young age, I never really understood the need for Jesus since I had everything I wanted due to playing soccer. Until when I was 14 and talking to my mom, I understood about salvation and made a decision to follow Christ. December of 2018, my wife and I were down in Brazil for Christmas and New Years celebrations with our families, we spent a few days at Word of Life and we saw a lot of need in the ministry for missionaries. Although there's a lot of work that needs to get done, there's not enough people to keep the ministry going... After noticing that and talking to a few missionaries, we realized that they had a lot of needs in areas that my wife and I actually enjoy and have degrees and experience on it. We prayed and talked to our mentors, and we are willing to be tools in God's hands to share the Gospel!

About Leticia

In 2011 I met Ivan during our senior year in High School, and he invited me and a few friends to go to Word of Life Camps. It was at Word of Life that I understood that Jesus died on the cross for me and my sins. During my college years, I interned at Word of Life and also volunteered during Camps. Word of Life ministries has impacted many lives and specially mine in different ways.

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24
