Ministry Description

I will be joining the team in Word of Life Austria, learning and serving alongside the missionaries! The team of missionaries is small. Instead of being in one specific role, I will be helping out in all of the areas of ministry! This is either in their church ministry (youth groups and kids clubs), Camp ministry, or Discipleship program! I will be putting on different hats in ministry as I learn and serve!

About Jael

I was born into the ministry field! My parents, at the time, were WOL missionaries in Guatemala. At a young age, I came to understand that I needed a savior at a kids' evangelistic event! At the age of seven, my family decided to move to Belize to start the Word of Life ministry. This was a huge change for me, and was completely against that idea. That summer, my camp counselor came beside me and walked me through the importance of walking in obedience. There, I decided to walk in obedience and go to Belize with an open heart! Which I did till I realized it was a lot harder than expected. As I was growing up, little by little, I started to grow a hardened heart towards the ministry and started to live a double life. One where in church and home, I was being a very different person at school. It was my 8th-grade summer at a campfire when I dedicated my life to Christ. Ever since then, I have had a passion for ministry! I have been on a mission trip with WOL Student Fusion to Portugal at the age of 17! I recently graduated from the Word of Life bible Institute, where I spent two years in deep learning of the bible and growing in ministry! I am excited to continue to grow and learn more as the Lord leads me in Austria! :)
