Ministry Description

The message in Matthew 28:19-20 resonates deeply within me, and having seen the impact and importance of discipleship in one's life, I made a decision to make it a part of my journey wherever God may guide me to.

I give all glory to God for providing individuals to be mentored through our ministry. To ensure we are purposeful in our mentoring, my team and I created a plan for each member of the discipleship group so that they can become a discipler in the future. Currently, I am mentoring 16 young women online every week and meet face-to-face some high school students from one of the International Schools in our field. We share our devotions and pray for each other, and I also meet with them individually for accountability, to discuss our struggles and achievements. I am grateful for the way God is working in the lives of these young women and am praying for the discipleship ministry to reach even more people and advance God's Kingdom.

Furthermore, I have been given the opportunity by God to lead the Mapping Ministry, which aims to assess the spiritual condition of the students participating in the English for Life and English Café Ministries. In each term, which spans eight weeks, I delegate them to different counselors who will either share the gospel with them, assure their salvation in Christ, inquire about their personal and spiritual struggles, or invite them to join a discipleship group.

About Jasmin Faith

I grew up in a Christian home. At a young age, I learned that Jesus died for my sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. I also saw my need for a Savior, which is why, at the age of eight, I embraced Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord. However, as I grew older, I frequently asked God why I was still sinning.

When I was 15 years old, I attended a camp facilitated by Word of Life. There I understood that my salvation in Christ is secure, and nobody can snatch me away from His hand. And because of so much gratefulness, I prayed a bold prayer that I will follow the Lord wherever He leads me and do whatever God desires for me. Then I began serving the Lord in our local Church, and the Lord used Word of Life ministry to help me become closer to Him. As a result of this ministry, I was able to share the Gospel with students, which ultimately led me to desire to study at Word of Life Bible Institute Philippines. I began my studies at WOLBI in 2005 and graduated in 2009. While studying God's Word full-time and preparing to run a camp, evangelize, and disciple, I was convinced that my life had been set apart for full-time ministry. However, I returned to my hometown to pursue a Bachelor of Secondary Education, and during this time I witnessed the importance of evangelizing and mentoring students firsthand.

The Lord then intervened in 2014. I applied to be a campus missionary for Elevate, a nationwide student movement committed to empowering students through values, excellence, and leadership. The Lord indeed prepared me for six years to experience how to intentionally disciple students, engage with administrators, and connect with government officials in order to enter schools to evangelize and disciple students through Elevate's #Notalone program. It was incredibly rewarding to see students bring their families to church, disciple others, and witness lives transformed.

In February 2020, I went to WOL Asia 2 to help facilitate a retreat for two international schools. When I saw the students, I realized that the ministry needed more workers. I prayed fervently to God for more laborers, but God's response was unexpected - it was through my own life that He answered my prayer. In January 2021, I followed God's call and began serving Him in the camping ministry and a discipleship program that mentors students and singles through both face-to-face and online sessions. I give praise to God because He is bringing more people to be ministered to through the WOL Asia 2 Ministry.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28.19-20
