Ministry Description
The first two years of ministry I served as the chef in charge of food service; but I have received a new challenge to become the person in charge of the area program for our camping ministry. I serve in the Deans Department, or as we call it "Life Department", for our Discipleship Training Center (CCM).
I also oversee the Bible Clubs in a region of our country, which currently has two functioning Bible Clubs.

About Jonathan
The Lord gave me the privilege of growing up in a christian home. When I was 8 years old I trusted in Christ as my savior, and at the age of 9 I was baptized. In 1998 my family and I were introduced to the Word of Life (WOL) ministry in Guatemala, and my parents began serving with the youth of our church. At that point I was in high school and was attending the Bible Club program in the church, but I lead a double lifestyle. From Monday to Friday I behaved as any unsaved teen would; Saturday and Sundays I lived as a hypocrite, to the point that I tried alcohol and this became an addiction. I would skip out of school to go drinking with my friends. I lived this way until the year 2005, when a WOL missionary confronted me and made me realize I was not living correctly and that I needed to reconcile with God. This missionaries influence made a huge impact, and it changed my life. In 2006 at dedicated my life to God at a campfire service, and I placed my life in His hands for Him to use use however He wanted. In April of 2007 I went to the Bible Institute in Argentina to study Gods Word for three years. Once I returned to Guatemala I collaborated in the WOL ministry for a couple of years but then stepped out and served in my local church. The Lord called me once again to join the staff as a full-time missionary in 2015, and that is what I have been doing ever since.
