Ministry Description

We aim to reach the youth of WOL ASIA 2 with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will train churches to have effective youth ministries of evangelism and discipleship. We will seize every opportunity to impact others with different avenues to share the good news through camps, training, school ministry opportunities, teaching English conversations, and relational evangelism.

About Jez

In our Sunday school class on March 26, 1996, I trusted Christ as my personal Savior. I know I am guilty of sin and cannot save myself through my good works. But at that moment, I heard and believe Jesus is the Son of God who sent for me to die in my place; he died on the cross, He was buried, and on the third day, He rose again. The fears and doubts have turned into joy, knowing that I am fully assured that He will save me. Our church used the Word of Life Bible Club youth program that encourages discipleship in our youth group. From there, I belonged to a small group that God used to help me grow in my walk with the Lord. Through the WOL missionaries I have met, I was encouraged to study at the Word of Life Bible Institute and took the 4-year course at WOLBI. God opened a ministry opportunity for me in the “Visayas Region” of the Philippines to be a Local Church Missionary. I was ministering to the main islands of Cebu, Bohol, and Leyte. My task was to help local churches by introducing the same Biblical program that molded me in my teenage years. But after ten years of being a local church missionary, God moved us to minister at the Word of Life Bible Institute as Dean of Students for four years. And now, we are looking forward to ministering to WOL Asia 2. We will share Jesus with all youth in Asia 2 so they will also share Jesus in their sphere of influence.

About Bamz

I grew up in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, and got saved when I was 11. Being a missionary has always been on my mind since childhood; little did I know that God was leading me in that direction. The principal in the school where I worked encouraged me to study at Word of Life Bible Institute. After a year, I ministered under the camping ministry of Word of Life Philippines for three years. Then God moved me to Thailand to help in missions for a little while before the Lord led me back to the Philippines. I got married to Jesil on September 8, 2012. We are now serving as WOL Missionaries with our three kids.
