Ministry Description

Here at Palabra de Vida Panama, I am involved in many different ministries. Throughout the year, I am involved in teen Bible clubs and discipling teen girls. Discipling and teaching others is a crucial ministry and it impacts these young girls to then teach and disciple other girls in the future. My great desire is to teach young women in the local churches how to become youth leaders and Sunday School teachers. I have started this process in my current local church.
We have summer camps in January and February, mini-camps throughout the year, and special events like the women's conference, etc. We are also involved in hosting short-term mission teams from the states to help us with evangelism in public schools for kids and teens in the months of June, July, and August. All of these are our evangelism outreach methods.
In the year of 2024, we are starting an Intensive Center for Discipleship for young adults. We will be running this school from March to December 2024 for Panamanians. They will be taking Bible classes online from Palabra de Vida Argentina, taking English classes, and doing local church ministry. I will be helping with running the English classes.

About Juliana

God saved me when I was six years old when my kindergarten teacher explained the gospel to me. That day I understood that I was a sinner and because of my sin, I deserved to spend eternity separated from God. I trusted Jesus as my Savior and believed that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose again giving me the opportunity to have a relationship with Him and spend eternity with Him. I grew up in the church so I went every Sunday with my parents. When I was 13 I was more interested in reading the Bible. However, I was more focused throughout my teen years on appearing righteous in front of people instead of focusing on my relationship with God. When I was 16, at a women's conference, I decided to trust God’s plan for my life and to truly live for Him. Since then in my high school years, I had seasons where things were harder but God always showed His faithfulness through it all. In my years at the Bible Institute, I fell more in love with God and His Word and learned that the most important thing in life is my relationship with God. The gospel is the center of everything and what I need to cling to daily as I share it with others.

Since I was 16 I have always wanted to do overseas missions. There is a great need for laborers around the world to take the Gospel and disciple and teach! The Lord has brought me to Panama and there is a desperate need for the clear Gospel. There are many Catholics who are confused about salvation in only Jesus Christ.

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:1-2
