Ministry Description

We have been in the full-time ministry since 2001, always focusing on church planting and leadership training in the Northeast Brazil and in 2008 we started working with the Word Life.
Today we coordinate the extension ministry in Piauí, Ceará and Maranhão. Having Bible Clubs as a major ministry. We also work with evangelism and discipleship; Leadership Training Center (CTL), and Bible Teaching at the Public School.

About Josue

I am Josué and from my childhood I was taken to the Church by my mother. My father, already deceased, was not a Christian. As a teenager I understood the Gospel and was converted. Since then, I have been involved with church leaders and youth and I realized God's direction for full-time ministry to my life. I married Ivy at the age of 24 and went to the Word of Life Bible Seminary in Atibaia, São Paulo, where I graduated. Today I am finishing the Master in Ministry and coordinating the extension of the Word of Life ministry Northeast in Brazil.

We have 2 daughters, Juliana and Isabela

About Ivy

I am Ivy and I was born in a house where my mother was a christian, but my father did not. Since I was a little girl I was taken to church by my grandmother, who helped me a lot to understand God and the biblical principles. At age 8, in a Bible school class, God spoke to me through a teacher and then I had an encounter with Jesus. At age 12, I felt the call to dedicate myself to the ministry, I began to participate in training and mission trips. I married Josue at the age of 22 and went to the Word of Life Bible Seminary. We have been in the ministry since 2001 and in 2008 we went to work with the Word of Life.
