Ministry Description

Jon is the Associate Professor of Bible & Theology and Dean of Students at WOLBI in Owen Sound. He teaches Bible Survey, Discipleship, Revelation, Deans' Chapels on Spiritual Formation, and has recently published a book, Disciple-Making Simplified (available on Amazon), to encourage believers to make Christ's final command their first concern. Jon is also the Interim Camp Director overseeing the various camping ministries in Owen Sound and disciples the young men on staff to lead the next generation.

About Jonathan

Jon believed Jesus died and rose again to pay for his sins at a young age and sensed a call to ministry as early as Junior High. This call was confirmed as he studied at New Brunswick Bible Institute, and later at Baptist Bible Seminary and Luther Rice University. He has ministered to youth and young adults for over 30 years through camp and various ministries of WOL.

About Melissa

Melissa was led to the Lord at a young age by a family member. She grew up in a growing Church with an especially active youth program. She dedicated her life to serving God at a Snow Camp event at WOL, Schroon Lake, NY and went on to study at Lancaster Bible College. Jon & Melissa serve with their three teen and young adult kids.
