Ministry Description

I am currently serving as a part of the marketing team, as a cook, and a teacher at SYME English for Life! This is an English discipleship program that God is using to reach many young people with the gospel and train them to serve as leaders in their local churches and around the world!

About Karina

I received Christ as my Savior when I was about 6 years old after my mom had a good news club in our home with my siblings and I. Since then God has used my parents and youth leaders to help me to grow in the Lord. During high school God encouraged me to learn to be more outgoing with my faith. After high school I went to the Bible Institute for a year and God changed my life in so many ways. He is teaching me the importance of what it means to truly love and serve others. In Japan, God has blessed us with opportunities to build relationships with young people through our SYME English for Life program. Through discipling and teaching Japanese youth, God is growing and stretching me in my walk of faith.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58
