Our vision is to see every teen in Vietnam can hear the Gospel through a friend.
What we do is to try to be "THAT FRIEND" (Evangelism) and to make young people in churches to be "THAT FRIEND" (Discipleship).
* Our Evangelism activities include:
- English Club Ministry. Through this ministry, we create a welcoming environment where nonbelievers can come and practice English using Bible stories. This provides an opportunity for us to share the Gospel with them and to build relationships that can lead to deeper conversations about faith.
- Children's Evangelism Ministry. We use drama to explain the Gospel to children in different places, and in 2022, we reached hundreds of children through this ministry. We believe that it's important to reach young people at a young age and help them develop a strong foundation of faith that will guide them throughout their lives.
* Our Discipleship activities include:
- Bible Club: We hold a weekly Bible club where we study the Bible together. We believe that studying God's Word together is a powerful way to deepen our understanding of His love and plan for our lives. As a result, many students from this Bible club are serving with us as volunteers in different projects of WOLVN.
- Local Church Ministry. We visit churches to preach God's Word and train teens to live for Christ. We conduct seminar to teach them how to share the Gospel.
Overall, our ministry in Vietnam is focused on sharing the love of Christ with the young people and helping them grow in their faith. Through our various initiatives and projects, we hope to make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.
As a new ministry organization, we are still trying to find our footing and settle into our work. One of our current challenges is that we don't have any property or facilities to work from. This makes it difficult for us to meet and work together as a team, and it also limits our ability to serve the community effectively. However, we are trusting in God's provision and have been praying that this year, we will have enough budget to rent an office where we can work together. We know that there are many challenges ahead, but we are excited to see how God will use us to make a difference in the lives of those around us.
The population of our field country is almost 100 million, and around 30 million are under 20 years old. Only 2% are evangelicals. The teens in this country are among the least likely of their global generation to believe a personal God exists. Most teens say they never think about God, Jesus, or the Bible. There is a great need for them to hear the Gospel, to know Jesus, and grow in their relationship with Him.
