Ministry Description

Word of Life started its ministry in Denmark in January 2020, when the first missionary couple moved to Brovst / Aalborg. More young people are preparing to join the team. We plan to organize camps, youth clubs and evangelistic outreach,

Country Description

5.9 Mio. people live in Denmark, Greenland and Faroer, of whom 75% belong to the Lutheran Church. A revival in the first half of the 20th century resulted in an evangelical fellowship movement within the Lutheran denomination. Evangelical church membership is around 20.000. In Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital, about 200 independent International Churches meet regularly with an estimate of 13.000 members.
Many Danish churches have been asking for help to reach out to the next generation. Word of Life seeks to be the best friend of the local church, providing evangelistic outreach and discipleship for the young generation.
