Ministry Description

We have the privilege of serving together in the youth leadership at Iglesia Bautista Calvario de Madrid, where we disciple young people and leaders as they take their next step with Jesus. Our heart is to see a new generation grounded in God’s Word and fully surrendered to His calling.

At Palabra de Vida España, we are involved in training and mentoring camp counselors, helping shape those who will, in turn, impact hundreds of young lives each summer. We also serve in worship, sound, and media, seeking to support the proclamation of the gospel with excellence.

In addition, we are actively involved in other ministries within our church, including young marriages, Sunday school teaching, and the preaching of God’s Word.

About

In many ways, our story reflects the beauty of what God is doing in Spain—a meeting point of cultures and lives transformed by the gospel. Andreea, from Romania, and I, Daniel, from Colombia, were both raised in Christian homes where we were taught the Scriptures from an early age. I understood the gospel when I was around eight years old, but at fourteen, I realized that I needed to surrender everything to Christ. In our teenage years, the gospel became deeply personal for each of us as we surrendered our lives to Christ.

By God’s providence, our paths crossed in our youth, and we soon realized that He was calling us to serve Him together. In 2018, we were married and began a journey of ministry side by side. Over the years, as we served faithfully in our local church and alongside Palabra de Vida España, the Lord began to place a clear calling on our hearts to pursue full-time ministry.

In faith, we stepped forward, trusting God to provide as we sought to dedicate our lives fully to His work in Spain.

About Andreea

Although I had heard the gospel many times, throughout my childhood and part of my adolescence I thought that being a Christian simply meant living a religious life and doing good things, and I thought that would be enough to one day go to heaven. I realized my mistake when I began to become aware of my sin. I understood that I had a serious problem, but I did not know how to solve it. During a summer in Romania, when I was already 15 years old, the Lord used Isaiah 53. I was reading my Bible, and for the first time those verses made sense to me. Jesus had suffered my punishment and paid the price so that I could have peace with the Father.

That day I acknowledged and accepted Jesus as my Savior, and I also dedicated my life to Him. If He was willing to love me so much when I did not deserve it, I wanted to live for Him and His purposes. From that point on, I became aware that the Lord had begun a work in me. My desire to follow Him and serve Him grew day by day.

After several years of serving in the church and after completing our training at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina, the Lord answered a prayer we had carried for seven years, blessing us with our son, Caleb, on February 7, 2026.This new season continues to motivate us to give each day of our lives to the One who gave His life for us..
