Ministry Description

This spring, I have the privilege of going on a short-term missions trip to the United Kingdom! This trip is part of a Spring Semester course every sophomore student takes at Word of Life Bible Institute. Instead of only learning about missions in the classroom, students get to raise support and participate in missions around the world alongside Word of Life missionaries. WOL United Kingdom is a ministry location that has been restarted in recent years. Currently, the focus is on building relationships with local churches in order to assist them with evangelism and discipleship efforts for their students. This includes putting evangelistic events in local communities. Also, there is a developing internship program. This trip's focus will be a week-long day camp for older elementary students at a local church including songs, games, Bible lessons and Gospel presentations, and small group discussions. This camp will be in the mornings and in the afternoons and evenings the team will do street evangelism. On the final day of the trip, there will be a one day youth conference for teenagers.
