Ministry Description

While living in Panama, I have the opportunity to share the gospel with people of all ages (mostly teens and children) and encourage them to walk in faith with the Lord. I am involved with a local church serving in a bible club and discipling young girls. I also have the opportunity of traveling to the ten different provinces in Panama and participating in open air evangelism, and teaching English classes and presenting a puppet show to the schools who allow. We also have strong communication and involvement with the Embera Tribe who are from the Chagres National Park. I am involved in helping with Spanish camp in January, February, and English camp in June. At these camps we provide games, meals and a time to share the gospel. I am also closely involved with the students who attend the discipleship school(CDI) on our property during the rest of the year.

About Maleah

Growing up I did not have the opportunity to grow up in a Christian household but I had two parents who loved me and wanted what was best for me. Throughout high school I was not apart of any religion even though my family knew the Lord. It wasn't until I graduated high school and went on a mission trip to Mexico, where the Lord took ahold of my heart. I accepted Jesus as my personal savior in June of 2019 in Mexico and soon had the desire to return. The Lord has always put a cross-cultural view on the way I looked at things. I attended the Word of Life Bible Institute for two years and the Lord really took ahold of my heart and made it clear to me. I am called to serve somewhere I will grow in my relationship with the Lord in a different language.
