I am helping for discipleship in EFL program. Lead the development and implementation of ministry programs that nurture the faith development of children and the Christian family, enabling families to worship, became disciples, share their faith with others, serve the church body and be on mission for Jesus Christ in the world.

About Martha

I am Martha from Indonesia. I am serving as a Launch missionary of WOL Asia 2. I grew up in a Christian family and joined Sunday school often when I was kid. I learned about Jesus from my Sunday School teacher because she always taught us about Jesus, but I did not know that I must have personal relationship with Him and let Him come into my heart as my God and Saviour.
My mother passed away when I was 15 years old. I was deeply shocked and lost, and I grew far from God. When I was in high school, one of my friends asked me to join their retreat. During the retreat, the preacher talked about salvation. God loves me so much and He died on the cross to save a sinner like me. He loves me unconditionally. I was deeply convicted, and I cried to God because I realized there is no other way to have eternal life… Jesus is the only way, the only truth and the only life. At that time, I gave my life to God and decided to accept Jesus as my personal saviour.
I met a wonderful couple 15 years later, who sent me to study the Word of God at Word of Life Bible Institute in the Philippines. I learned so much during my 1 year study at WOLBI. After I graduated at WOLBI, I went back to Indonesia and started serving God in my local church in Jambi (Sumatra Island).
In 2023, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and by God’s grace, I finished my treatment after 1 year. I am a cancer survivor now and I am committed to give all my live to serve Him fully with WOL Asia 2 focusing Sumatra Island and Java Islands. I am praying to be involved more in missions, and I started to reach out to children through Bible Club, facilitated ladies discipleship small group and taught Bible lessons to teens and young people in my church. Please pray for me and the ministry of Word of Life in my country. Thank you.
