My role as a missionary with Word of Life is to work from the office that is located in the city, in the MIL office (ministry for local churches).
organize the logistics of mobilizing groups to our camp.
In summer I help in the recreation area, zip line and pool.
I maintain contact with the pastors and their wives during the year by inviting them to the different activities carried out by the ministry.
I help lead one particular church, IBEM church, located in the West of the Country, supporting the leaders in discipleship and organization of the Bible club of that church. My husband and I founded that church in 2014, 9 years ago.

Mi función como misionera con Palabra de Vida, es trabajar desde la oficina que esta ubicada en la ciudad, en la oficina de MIL (ministerio para las iglesias locales).
organizar la logística de movilización de grupos hacia nuestro campamento.
En verano ayudo en el área de recreación, Ziple y piscina.
Mantengo contacto con los pastores y sus esposas durante el año invitando para las diferentes actividades que realiza el ministerio.
Encargada de una iglesia en particular IBEM, ubicada en el Oeste del País, apoyando a los lideres en discipulado y organización del club bíblico de esa iglesia. Con mi esposo fundamos esa iglesia en el 2014 hace 9 años atrás.

I was born in a home with separated parents, a non-Christian home.
When I was 11 years old, my older brother accepted Christ as his personal Savior and one of the first spiritual fruits of him was sharing the gospel with me.
Since I was a teenager I attended Bible clubs and began to be discipled by the wife of the person who was the director of Word of Life at that time.
I got married in 1997, we served as club leaders with the desire to be able to prepare ourselves to serve much better and in 2003 we went to study at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina.
In 2006 we were officially appointed as full-time missionaries. For us it was investing in young lives as they did with us.
In 2013 we were challenged to take 2 girls who were in an orphanage to come and be part of our family like our daughters, Marcia, 15 years old, and Janeth, 10 years old. Currently Marcia finished university and studied for a year at the Bible Institute. Janeth finished her high school degree and decided to start her family. Currently, she has her first child and I am now a Grandmother, he was born on July 23, 2023.
Having served in the ministry for 16 years, this year 2023, after 26 years of marriage, my husband Luis Cano entered into the presence of God. He was diagnosed with Cancer for 3 years. This has been really hard for me, but I understand that God is Sovereign.
I confirm my desire to continue serving with the Word of Life, not alone but lead by the hand of the Lord.

Nací en un hogar con padres separados, un hogar no cristiano.
Cuando tenia 11 años, mi hermano mayor aceptó a Cristo como su Salvador personal y uno de sus primeros frutos espirituales fue compartir el evangelio conmigo.
Desde que fui adolescente asistí a los clubes bíblicos y comencé a ser discipulado por la esposa del que era el director de Palabra de Vida en esos momentos.
Me case en 1997, servimos como lideres de los clubes con el deseo de poder prepararnos para servir mucho mejor y en el año 2003 fuimos a estudiar al instituto Bíblico de Palabra de Vida en Argentina.
En el 2006 oficialmente fuimos nombramos como misioneros tiempo completos. Para nosotros era invertir en vidas de jóvenes como hicieron con nosotros.
En el 2013 fuimos desafiados a tomar 2 chicas las cuales estaban en un orfanatorio para que vinieran hacer parte de nuestra familia como nuestras hijas, Marcia de15 años y Janeth 10 años. Actualmente Marcia Termino la universidad y estudio un año en el Instituto Bíblico. Janeth termino su bachillerato y decidió formar su familia actualmente tiene a su primer hijo y ya soy Tiabuela, nació el 23 de julio de 2023.
Teniendo 16 años sirviendo en el ministerio, este año 2023 después de 26 años de casado mi esposo Luis Cano parte a la presencia de Dios, estuvo por 3 años diagnosticado con Cáncer. Esto fue un duro golpe para mi, pero entiendo que Dios es Soberano.
Confirme mi deseo de seguir sirviendo con Palabra de Vida, no sola sino tomada de la mano del Señor.

Estando persuadido de esto, que el que comenzó en vosotros la buena obra, la perfeccionará hasta el día de Jesucristo;
