Ministry Description
Hi! My name is Noah and I am an intern in the Ministries department at the Word of Life Bible Institute, NY. As a part of the Camp Ministries Team at Word of Life, my role as an intern varies greatly from day to day. Many days I am in meetings, or planing events for the students on campus at the Bible Institute. There are other times where I am assisting in school and community events and having Christ centered conversations with the participants. One of the big events that I help run is Reverb, an all night event for students. Snowcamp and summer camp are also large parts of the internship, as a great deal of leadership and responsibility is entrusted to the interns during these camp seasons.

About Noah
Working with youth was always a part of my life. I put my faith in Jesus Christ at a young age, and because my parents were both heavily involved in our church when I was growing up, I was as well. I attended my church's youth programs and first learned about Word of Life (WOL) through them but It was not until I experienced a WOL Snowcamp that I fully grasped the magnitude of the organization. As I returned year after year as a Snowcamp camper the Lord slowly placed it on my heart to consider attending the Bible Institute, a 2 year college program that is run by WOL. By my Senior year I had worked with youth for a summer at one of the WOL camps and was set on completing the Bible Institute program. During my second year of the Bible Institute program I applied (as did many others) for a two year internship and left the results to God to do as he saw fit with my life. My felt calling is youth ministry, and my passion is the outdoors and camps, and God decided to use both of those things to further His kingdom. I was chosen to be one of just five people to be accepted into the internship. I am now completing the internship, raising support to cover its cost and the cost of my degree through Liberty University Online, and letting God take the reigns of my life and do His will through me.
