About Jaden

What is the most difficult choice you have ever made in your life?
For me, the hardest choice was deciding whom to live with after my parents’ divorce. Born into a wealthy family that did not believe in God, my world shattered in fourth grade when my parents separated. I felt a deep sense of loss and confusion, and my joy faded away.

However, a turning point came during my middle school years when my aunt and uncle introduced me to God, the Gospel, and Heaven. They spoke of a love I had never known, offering hope in my seemingly hopeless life.
As a teenager, I began to believe in God. Initially, my lack of understanding led me to blame Him for my hardships. I remember looking up at a light and challenging God to turn it off if He was real. Nothing happened, but in His love, God was patient with me. He revealed Himself through the Bible, my aunt and uncle, and daily events. I realized that God came not to turn off a light but to save me from darkness, giving me true love and peace.

From then on, I decided to believe in God with all my heart and mind. I found hope for my future and true joy from God. Understanding His love for me and my family, I felt a responsibility to live for Him and share His love with those around me. I aimed to serve Him just as those who brought His message to me.
This is a summary of the special story that God has for me—a person who once felt insignificant. I used to feel ashamed of my family and rarely spoke about it. However, by volunteering at the youth camps of WOL Vietnam, I have the opportunity to share my story and encourage young people to discover God’s special plan for their lives.
