Ministry Description

Por la gracia y fidelidad de Dios, estamos sirviendo en el equipo de MIL (Ministerio para la Iglesia Local), desarrollando el Ministerio de Jóvenes Mayores. Nuestro anhelo es capacitar, discipular y equipar a cada joven para que profundice su relación con Cristo y pueda impactar a su generación con el evangelio. Asimismo, colaboramos en el entrenamiento y formación de líderes de Clubes Bíblicos, apoyando a nuevas iglesias con las que estaremos trabajando en distintas zonas del país. Creemos firmemente en la preparación de líderes comprometidos que establezcan bases sólidas en la palabra de Dios para el crecimiento saludable de la iglesia local. También participamos en las diferentes actividades del ministerio, como campamentos, viajes misioneros, congresos de líderes, el programa Jóvenes Involucrados y la atención de grupos de americanos que sirven junto a nosotros.

Agradecemos profundamente a Dios por el privilegio de ser parte de lo que Él está haciendo en Honduras. Sabemos que hemos sido llamados a invertir nuestras vidas en el evangelismo y discipulado de esta generación.

By the grace and faithfulness of God, we are serving on the LCM team (Local Church Ministry), developing the Young Adults’ Ministry. Our desire is to train, disciple, and equip each young person so that they may deepen their relationship with Christ and impact their generation with the gospel. We also collaborate in the training and development of Bible Club leaders, supporting new churches with which we will be working in different regions of the country. We firmly believe in preparing committed leaders who establish solid foundations in the Word of God for the healthy growth of the local church.
We also participate in various ministry activities such as camps, mission trips, leadership conferences, the Teens Involved event, and hosting groups of Americans who serve alongside us.
We deeply thank God for the privilege of being part of what He is doing in Honduras. We know that we have been called to invest our lives in the evangelism and discipleship of this generation.

Vengo de una familia de trasfondo católico. Mis padres se separaron cuando yo tenía apenas dos años, debido a que mi papá luchaba con el alcohol y el cigarrillo. Crecí sin una figura paterna en casa, y aunque mi mamá hizo todo lo posible por educarnos y sacarnos adelante, la ausencia de mi padre marcó profundamente mi corazón.
Durante mi adolescencia, el fútbol se convirtió en mi refugio. En esos años, las maras reclutaban activamente a muchos jóvenes, y el deporte fue el medio que Dios usó para guardarme de tomar un camino equivocado. A través del fútbol comencé a acercarme a una iglesia, donde iba a jugar, aunque no me congregaba regularmente. Un día me pusieron una condición para seguir jugando: debía comenzar a asistir a los cultos. Lo que comenzó como un requisito terminó siendo el medio que Dios usó para hablar a mi corazón. Desde el primer día, el Señor comenzó a mostrarme mi condición: entendí que era pecador, que había amargura en mi corazón y que necesitaba a Cristo.
Recuerdo especialmente cuando escuché el Salmo 27:10: “Aunque mi padre y mi madre me dejaran, con todo, Jehová me recogerá.” Esa frase, “con todo”, quedó resonando en mi mente. Me preguntaba qué significaba realmente, hasta que lo comprendí el 21 de julio de 2001, en un campamento de la iglesia. Esa noche, alrededor de una fogata, predicaron sobre Juan 3:16, y entendí con claridad que Cristo me amaba y había entregado Su vida por mí. Ese día puse mi fe en Él y experimenté el abrazo del Padre que nunca me abandonaría. Desde entonces, soy salvo por la gracia y misericordia de Dios, agradecido porque Él llenó el vacío de mi corazón y me dio una nueva identidad como Su hijo.

I come from a family with a Catholic background. My parents separated when I was only two years old because my father struggled with alcohol and smoking. I grew up without a father figure at home, and although my mother did everything possible to raise us and help us move forward, my father’s absence deeply marked my heart.
During my teenage years, soccer became my refuge. In those years, gangs were actively recruiting many young people, and sports were the means God used to keep me from taking a wrong path. Through soccer, I began attending a church where I would go to play, although I did not regularly attend services. One day, I was given a condition to continue playing: I had to start attending church services. What began as a requirement became the means God used to speak to my heart. From the very first day, the Lord began to show me my condition: I understood that I was a sinner, that there was bitterness in my heart, and that I needed Christ.
I especially remember when I heard Psalm 27:10: “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.” That phrase, “the Lord will receive me,” kept echoing in my mind. I wondered what it truly meant until I understood it on July 21, 2001, at a church camp. That night, around a bonfire, John 3:16 was preached, and I clearly understood that Christ loved me and had given His life for me. That day I placed my faith in Him and experienced the embrace of the Father who would never abandon me. Since then, I have been saved by the grace and mercy of God, grateful because He filled the emptiness of my heart and gave me a new identity as His child.

Conocí a Cristo a los 14 años. Crecí en un hogar profundamente marcado por el dolor, debido a la enfermedad de mi mamá, quien luchó durante años con bulimia y anorexia. Desde muy pequeña viví bajo una gran presión por mantener ciertas apariencias, y la violencia en casa era una realidad constante como consecuencia de su condición.
Hubo un momento muy difícil en nuestra familia cuando mi mamá intentó quitarse la vida en las vías del tren. Ese día, providencialmente, recordó que alguien la había invitado a una iglesia, y decidió asistir. Allí escuchó el mensaje del evangelio y comenzó a conocer al Señor. A partir de entonces, mis hermanos y yo comenzamos a asistir a la iglesia con ella.
Aunque al principio iba obligada, un domingo el Señor habló claramente a mi corazón a través de la predicación. Se habló acerca del pecado, del infierno y de la necesidad de Cristo para salvación. Ese día comprendí que yo también era pecadora y que necesitaba desesperadamente un Salvador. Pasajes como Romanos 5:8 y Juan 3:16 fueron claves para entender que Dios me amaba profundamente, aun con toda la amargura y el rencor que había en mi corazón. En ese momento puse mi fe en Cristo y lo recibí como mi único y suficiente Salvador. Él comenzó a transformar mi vida, sanando heridas, restaurando mi corazón y dándome una nueva esperanza.
En el año 2012 ingresé al Instituto Bíblico Palabra de Vida Argentina, donde me formé durante cuatro años. Desde el 2016 tengo el privilegio de servir al Señor a tiempo completo como misionera, agradecida por Su gracia y deseando que otros puedan conocer el mismo amor y restauración que yo encontré en Él.

I came to know Christ at the age of 14. I grew up in a home deeply marked by pain due to my mother’s illness, as she struggled for years with bulimia and anorexia. From a very young age, I lived under great pressure to maintain certain appearances, and violence at home was a constant reality as a result of her condition. There was a very difficult moment in our family when my mother attempted to take her life on the train tracks. That day, providentially, she remembered that someone had invited her to a church, and she decided to attend. There she heard the message of the gospel and began to know the Lord. From then on, my siblings and I began attending church with her.
Although at first I went unwillingly, one Sunday the Lord clearly spoke to my heart through the preaching. The message addressed sin, hell, and the need for Christ for salvation. That day I understood that I too was a sinner and desperately needed a Savior. Passages such as Romans 5:8 and John 3:16 were key in helping me understand that God deeply loved me, even with all the bitterness and resentment in my heart. At that moment, I placed my faith in Christ and received Him as my one and sufficient Savior. He began to transform my life, healing wounds, restoring my heart, and giving me a new hope.
In 2012, I enrolled at the Word of Life Bible Institute Argentina, where I studied for four years. Since 2016, I have had the privilege of serving the Lord full-time as a missionary, grateful for His grace and desiring that others may know the same love and restoration that I found in Him.
