WOL Ecuador reaches over 50,000 youth per year with the Gospel and until 2010 had rented camp properties. With the new dining hall built attention is on more cabins. You'll love the vast beautiful green mountains of the rain forest and the wonderful dedicated people as they reach their country for Christ.
The camp property was purchased in 2010 and consists of 54 acres of lush towering mountains. It is 5000 feet elevation right on the continental divide. The “Cloud Forest” is filled with rich tropical vegetation and beautiful wildlife. It is just 45 minutes Northwest from Quito, Ecuador’s capital of 2 million people and is considered the “Middle of the World”. Your time will be to help with the preparations for the camping season A new maintenance building is in the plans. This building will help WOL Ecuador impact the lives of young men and women for many years. There are several concrete sidewalks to build and the main road needs surfaced with pavers.

Travel
You will fly into Quito, Ecuador's capital. Quito is built in a huge valley and is a very modern city with good roads. You'll be amazed at what you see in this remote part of the world.

Food
Meals are prepared by the WOL staff. You'll eat the local meals and enjoy the taste of tree ripened fruit and fresh veggies. The bread is wonderful and the cooks work hard to please everyone. You'll enjoy the times of fellowship around the tables listening to amazing testimonies of God's grace from the team and WOL staff.
Housing
Housing can be at the WOL property in Quito or at the camp which is just 60 minutes away.
Transportation
Travel will depending on the size of the group. WOL Ecuador has their own tour bus for larger groups.
What To Bring
Bed sheets, towels, personal items, light blanket and an air mattress if you like. This will depend on the size of the group. There are some tools at the camp but a very limited amount. A list of needs will be sent when you sign up to go along. Anything we can take along to leave for use will be a huge blessing. The electric is the same as the USA.
What To Wear
Temp are mild, 55 to 75 almost every day, 12 months per year. Jeans and layered shirts are the best work ware. Work can be done in shorts and T-shirts but be ready for the cooler evening weather around 5:00. Sunday church is business casual dress.
Qualifications
These projects are designed for everyone to attend. A love for the Lord to serve and a willingness to be blessed are what we are looking for. If you can do these things, you qualify!
Other
There is so much that can be done at the camp and all skills and talents are needed. There is room for the entire family to go along. Work trips are great opportunities for grandparents to introduce their grand children to missions.

About the Finances
Great place to take the entire family! Trip cost covers food, lodging, transportation, background check, travel insurance, $125 work funds and $110 host cost. It does not cover international airfare.
