This trip was such a smashing success in 2023, thanks to God alone for bringing 159 people to Himself! So we are going back in 2024! Applications are open until June 14th. Schedule Overview leave the USA on 9th or 10th arrive at EBB airport in Uganda on 10th-11th clinics from Monday, 12th through Friday, 16th tourism day on Saturday, 17th departures, 18th-20th, or an optional safari extension Healthcare Ministry: • Our intent is to provide the finest healthcare possible to the poorest and neediest people in the world. • Team of volunteer healthcare professionals using their abilities to help the helpless.
Evangelistic Ministry: • The Gospel will be shared with every person we treat. • We treated 805 people in 2023. Our goal this year is to treat and share the Good News with 750-1,000 people! • Word of Life Uganda is passionate to train up youth to reach their generation with the Good News of the Gospel! They have a Bible Institute to equip young adults to share Jesus with the people of Africa!
Details
Travel
The group will be flying in/out of Entebbe International Airport (EBB).
Visa
Uganda utilizes a digital Visa which costs $50. Details on applying for the visa will be provided to accepted team members. It is fairly easy process.
Food
The group will be eating meals in the Bible Institute dining hall or at the hotels we stay at. They tend to eat a later lunch in Uganda, around 13:00, but the group will be few 3 meals per day.
Housing
The group will be staying at the Word of Life Bible Institute and possibly a hotel for a remote clinic.
Transportation
The missionaries will handle our transportation, probably via minibus.

Like all of our trips, Word of Life requires each team member to have a background check within 12 months of the trip. This is part of the application process and costs $12 (not included in trip costs). About the Finances
The trip cost will include housing, food, in-country transportation, emergency medical insurance, and a small contribution towards medications/supplies. Trip cost does not include international airfare, visa, and background check.
