Assist the WOLHU Marketing Team in several projects and tasks. Grow in and deepen your marketing skills in a hands-on experience type of way.
Word of Life Hungary exists to evangelize and disciple young people through biblical teaching, Christ-centered community, and ministry training. Our goal is to equip students to grow in their faith, develop strong biblical foundations, and gain practical experience in serving God. Through Bible school programs, camps, and outreach events, we seek to inspire and prepare the next generation to live for Christ and share the gospel in Hungary and beyond.
Details
Travel
Our staff will pick you up from BUD - Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport in Budapest, Hungary which is located close to an hour away from our property. Volunteers may choose to self-pay to cover flight costs, or they may raise additional support to cover these costs.
Visa
In Hungary it is not necessary to obtain a visa for visits to Hungary that are less than 90 days. Only a valid US Passport is needed (Valid 3 months after the date of your return). Volunteers who plan to stay in Hungary for longer than 90 days will need to apply for a Temporary Residency Permit after arrival in Hungary.
Food
All meals are prepared and provided by our dedicated kitchen staff.
Housing
Volunteers will be accommodated in one of two options on the Word of Life Hungary property: comfortable castle rooms with Wi-Fi and heating or apartment-style housing with a private bathroom, ideal for married couples or individuals seeking more privacy. Placement will depend on room availability and ministry needs.
Transportation
Word of Life (WOL) will provide transportation to and from the airport as well as trips to the grocery store. Only WOL-approved staff are permitted to operate WOL vehicles, but volunteers may rent a vehicle in Hungary if approved by our Transportation Coordinator. Additionally, Hungary has a well-developed public transportation system, including buses and trams, which offer a convenient option for personal travel.
What To Bring
Please bring clothing suitable for the season! (Winter temperatures can range from 0° to 5°F, while summer can reach highs of 85° to 90°F.) Other essentials to pack: Any regular medications, and an unlocked phone (we can provide a reasonably priced SIM card for your stay). What not to bring: Towels and bedding are not necessary. For any additional housing items, we have Ikea and other stores in Budapest where you can find what you need.

Qualifications
Must have experience in and/or a passion in at least one of the following marketing related fields: Graphic Design, Social Media, Hungarian/English copyrighting, Photography, Videography, Project Management, Web Design.
Finances
About the Finances
Based on length of stay and the number of people in your family we kindly ask for contributions to support ministry expenses for room and board. Additional fees for your trip would include emergency medical insurance, airfare and visa costs. Please feel free to reach out for more details. You will have the opportunity to raise financial support to cover the cost of your ministry and airfare. If raising support for your trip, there would be a 12% administration fee included with your total support raised. If raising financial support for missions is new to you, let us know!
