Applications for this are open until December 18th, 2026 (8 weeks prior to travel). • This trip is in partnership with Grace Church and Word of Life Guatemala. The healthcare professionals will treat those who come to the clinics while the missionaries share the Good News of Jesus with each and every one of them!
Evangelistic Ministry: • The Gospel will be shared with every person we treat. • The goal is to treat and share the Good News with over 2,000 people on the trip. • Word of Life Guatemala is passionate to train up youth to reach their generation with the Good News of the Gospel!
Details
Travel
• Team members will be picked up from the Guatemala City airport (GUA) on Saturday the 13th and they will be dropped off at GUA airport on Sunday the 21st. More details for the arrival window will be provided to approved team members.
Visa
• US citizens will receive visa upon entry to Guatemala. There is no advance visa application for US citizens.
Food
• The team will enjoy wonderful, tasty food prepared by our missionaries. You will eat well:) • We will be able to provide alternate meal options for those with allergies.
Housing
• The group will stay at Word of Life Guatemala's camp property. It is in hot & humid climate, but fortunately, you will sleep in nice rooms with A/C!
Transportation
• Word of Life's missionaries will take care of all the transportation in-country.
What To Bring
• A packing list will be provided to accepted team members.
What To Wear
• Scrubs (Healthcare professionals) with close-toed shoes for work. • Modest casual clothing for free time and day off. • Bathing suits: "1-piece" with shorts for women (please no midriff), hand-length shorts for men • Remember that we are protecting the reputations of the Word of Life's missionaries. Please prefer our missionaries for the duration of the missions trip, as well as travel to and from the field:)

About the Finances
Trip cost: $900 + International Airfare Trip cost includes housing, transportation, and food (minus any meals eaten out) in Guatemala, and emergency medical insurance. Trip cost doesnot include international airfare or background check. Payment for the trip due by December 18th, 2026 (8 weeks prior to trip).
