Hi, we're Randy and Kylie Curtis. We minister in the US Office.
As the Missions Mobilizer for our Student Missions Team, my main role is to manage the Missions Reality program for the 2nd year students at Word of Life. Our goal is for all of our 2nd year students to raise support and experience missions with one of WOL's mission fields around the world. This includes a lot of teaching, coaching, encouraging, and administrative work, as well as coordination with other staff and the missionaries on the field. I also help with teaching, counseling, and discipling our Bible Institute students, all for the sake of mobilizing them to find their role in missions. Finally, I am involved in planning missions trips for high school and other college students during the summers through a program called Student Fusion, helping to coordinate our annual Missions Conference for our BI students, speaking for a mini-Missions Conference for high school students, and training and mentoring those who participate in our Cross Cultural Internship program that students can do after they graduate from the BI.

After attending church one Sunday night when I was eight years old, I came home with a lot of questions about salvation. My dad sat me down and walked me through the Gospel, and I came to know the Lord as Savior that night. Then on a mission trip during the summer between my freshman and sophomore years in high school, I dedicated my life to the Lord, and began to prayerfully explore full-time ministry as my life's calling. Through this process, the Lord led me to Word of Life Bible Institute as a student in 2006. I attended WOLBI for two years, and then joined the staff as an intern for the next four years, mostly as a Discipleship Coordinator. I met and married my wife, Kylie, during my years on staff, and we moved to Michigan in 2012. In 2014, after attending a missions class called "Perspectives," the Lord called us back to WOLBI, where I served as Dean of Men for five years. I am now serving on the Student Missions Team for the International Ministries division of WOL.
I am committed to multiplying mature minded men, who desire to live Gospel-centered lives wherever the Lord takes them after their time at Word of Life.
