Ministry Description

I serve as the vice-director of Alcance, a Christian youth camp located in Atibaia, Brazil. Alcance aims to reach low-income Brazilian youth with the gospel of Christ and connect them to the local church. We accomplish this mission through completely free, weekend-long camps held throughout the year, beginning in March and running monthly until December. The goal of this ministry is to serve as a bridge between the community and the local church.

As vice-director, I assist with the logistical and practical aspects of the ministry. Along with our other staff members, I help decide the theme for the year that we want to teach to the campers who attend. During camp, I serve as the Programs Leader, ensuring that all activities and events are well-prepared and run smoothly.

When camp is not in session, I focus on maintaining our property. This includes mowing the grass, repairing anything that may have broken, and taking care of the landscape. Additionally, I begin preparing for the next group of campers who will visit.
