Ministry Description

We praise God for the opportunity to reach the youth of Honduras with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our diverse ministry responsibilities. We work directly with several Bible Clubs in Tegucigalpa— encouraging, supporting, and discipling the leaders of these groups on a weekly basis.
We are now working in the Leadership Training Center, which gives us the opportunity to help young adults in diving into God’s Word deeply and put these principles into practice in their local church.
Some of our other responsibilities include leading a mission trip of national young adults, as well as organizing the American mission teams that come to serve in Honduras.
We rejoice in each opportunity and responsibility that we have been given to serve the Lord and to grow in the ministry.

Damos gracias a Dios por cada oportunidad que tenemos en el ministerio para alcanzar la juventud de Honduras con el Evangelio de Jesucristo. Trabajamos directamente con varios clubes bíblicos en Tegucigalpa—animando, apoyando, y discipulando a los lideres juveniles de manera semanal.
Dios nos ha dado la oportunidad de trabajar en el Centro de Capacitación de Liderazgo, en lo cual podemos ayudar a los jóvenes mayores a profundizar en la Palabra de Dios y poner los principios bíblicos en práctica en su iglesia local.
Organizamos un viaje misionero anual con un grupo de jóvenes mayores (hondureños), y también estamos a cargo de los grupos americanos que vienen a servir en Honduras.
Nos gozamos en cada oportunidad y responsabilidad que nos han dado para servir al Señor y crecer a través del ministerio.

About Ronald

When I was a teen I was invited to go to a WOL camp in Honduras, where I was confronted with my sin and also with the Word of God. It was during that week that I received Christ as my personal Savior. During the following years, God started forming my heart and giving me a passion to serve Him. I was growing in my relationship with God and attending a local church (which is still our church today). In the following years, I continued to attend the WOL camp, where God put a conviction in my heart to set apart a few years to study His Word at the Bible Institute in Argentina. After praying for many years about this and receiving counsel from my local church, God opened up the doors for me to study in Argentina in 2013. I spent 4 incredible years there deepening my faith, and this is where I met Alicia, who is now my wife. During my last years at the Bible Institute, the Lord continued showing me over and over that after finishing my studies I needed to go back to my country and serve Him there. This conviction was confirmed in my heart even more so because God had put the same passion in Alicia's heart even before we met. Since the end of 2016 I have been serving with the Word of Life Honduras team. In August 2017, Alicia and I joined our lives together in marriage, and we have the privilege of serving the Lord together now. God has also given us the joy of being parents to our son, Santiago, and we pray that we raise him in the knowledge and discipline of the Lord.

Cuando era joven, me invitaron a ir al campamento de PDV Honduras, donde fui confrontado con mi pecado y también con la Palabra de Dios. Fue durante esa semana que recibí a Cristo como mi Salvador personal. De allí Dios empezó a formar mi corazón y darme una pasión por servirle. Estaba creciendo en mi relación con Dios y asistiendo la iglesia local (la cual es nuestra iglesia el día de hoy). En los años siguientes, asistí el campamento de PDV y Dios puso una convicción en mi corazón de apartar unos años para estudiar Su Palabra en el Instituto Bíblico en Argentina. Después de mucho tiempo orando y buscando consejo en mi iglesia local, Dios me abrió las puertas para estudiar en Argentina en 2013. Pasé 4 años increíbles allá profundizando en mi fe, y allí es donde conocí a Alicia, quien ahora es mi esposa.
Durante los últimos años en el Instituto Bíblico, el Señor me mostró muchas veces que después de terminar mis estudios necesitaba regresar a mi país y servirle allí. Esta convicción fue confirmada en mi corazón aun mas porque Dios puso esa misma pasión en el corazón de Alicia—aun antes de conocernos. Desde el 2016 he estado sirviendo con el equipo de PDV Honduras. En 2017, Alicia y yo unimos nuestras vidas en matrimonio, y ahora tenemos el privilegio de servir juntos. Dios nos ha dado el gozo de tener a nuestro hijo Santiago, y oramos que él crezca en el conocimiento y disciplina del Señor.
