About Rachel

I was born and raised in a Christian family, and from a young age, I learned Bible stories about Jesus. I regularly attended church, read the Bible, and prayed, but I didn’t truly understand who God was. I followed these practices because they were expected of me, and I wanted to be recognized by others.
That all changed during a camp in 2013, when I was a teenager. The pastor said, "If your parents believe in God, then they are children of God. But you must have your own personal relationship with God to be saved and become His child." In that moment, I realized that salvation is a gift from God, given through grace and received by faith—not something I could earn through my works (Ephesians 2:8-9). I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and truly understood that I had received salvation because I now had a personal relationship with God.
