About

Growing up, I attended church with my family, but I didn’t truly understand the Gospel until I was 7. I realized I was a sinner, that Jesus died for me, and I gave my life to Him. As I got older, I became more focused on fitting in and began walking away from God. Although I continued attending church, my life wasn’t reflecting Christ.

The summer after my junior year, my life felt like it was falling apart. During that time, I went to Word of Life Island, where I experienced a peace I couldn’t explain. I realized that peace came from Jesus and recognized that I couldn’t continue living for myself, so I rededicated my life to Him.

From there, God began rebuilding my life. At Word of Life, I learned to take my relationship with Him seriously and began spending time in His Word daily. As I surrendered my life to Him, I saw Him work in ways I never imagined.

Through this, God placed a desire in my heart to serve Him in ministry and reach others with the Gospel. My call to missions grew from a desire to obey God, share the Gospel, disciple others, and help people grow in their relationship with Christ. God has taught me that surrender is not a one-time decision, but a daily choice to trust and obey Him. That is the foundation I want to carry into ministry and missions as I seek to make His name known.
