About Samuel

I was not born in a Christian family. My father worked far from our home, so mom was really the one who raised me. Like many teenagers, from the age of 12 to 17, it was normal for me to drink and smoke.
One day a Pastor came to me to invite me to a soccer competition, which I came to find out was actually a week of camp at Word of Life Venezuela. For five days I fought in my heart until I couldn’t fight anymore. God broke my heart and I accepted Jesus as my savior. From that moment, God transformed my life.
I stayed at Word of Life Venezuela as an intern until 2007. In that year God opened the doors for me to go to the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina, to prepare me for His work. In 2010 I returned to WOL Venezuela, this time as a missionary.
I met Carol through a Bible Club that I was working with, and at the end of 2011 we were married, and began our ministry serving the Lord together. God has given us a wonderful son, Santiago, who has joined us on our new adventure, Word of Life Dominican Republic, where we have been serving since December 2015.

About Carol

God blessed me with the opportunity to come to know Him as my savior at five years old. My father is a pastor in Venezuela, and since I was very small we have been able to serve the Lord together as a family. At twelve years old, I had an operation on my brain, which was very hard on my family, but God performed a miracle and I am still living today.
To serve the Lord has always been the desire of my heart. God blessed me with husband who is a missionary, and now we are serving the Lord together. God has given us a wonderful son, Santiago, who has joined us on our new adventure, Word of Life Dominican Republic, where we have been ministering since December 2015.

Acts 20:24 “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”
